Tipps for climate friendly food shopping | HSCN Contest – Team 36
After a workshop about climate change as global challenge and reflections about our role as consumers, this team collected tipps for their school how we can protect the climate by choosing well our food – they added as well information, how much CO2 emissions can be reduzed and why it is the better solution.
- Choose vegetable, outdoor grown, local, seasonal, organic food.
- Only buy what you need.
- Remember about the embodied energy used for production, transport, storage and recycling for a product.
