Tibet: Skype Conversation with Switzerland
The environmental club members of had a skype conversation at 4: 15 pm on November 6 at the school temple with students from Switzerland.
There were 12 students among them but here we were only six of us. The student asked questions to each other and shared ideas on preserving the environment. Each of us got to talk to two of them about climate change. The students in India learnt that in Switzerland the glaciers were melting and floods were happening. And to prevent anymore environmental problems they are using public transport instead of individual cars.
From the Tibetans, the students in Switzerland learnt about Tibet as the third pole of the world. They also learned how global warming is affecting Tibet faster than the other parts of the world.
